Technology + Operations + Commercial Excellence

Switzerland

Engineer, Executive MBA, and a builder at heart: I have founded three companies and spent nearly two decades helping healthcare and biotech teams scale operations, embrace practical AI, and bring complex products to market globally. I love connecting people and technology to turn data into simple, impactful solutions that solve real-world problems, and I would rather ship something imperfect and learn from it than perfect it in a slide. When I am not building digital systems or mentoring others, you will usually find me out on the water sailing, training at CrossFit, or unwinding with a good sci-fi book.

My values

Hard Work with Meaning

I come from a world where hard work carries dignity, so given the choice I work more rather than less. But the two halves are inseparable:

I have to LOVE what I do, otherwise I become the worst version of myself.

The Organization Before the Self

I work for the company, not for my own record. I have never understood people who attach themselves to one or two highly visible projects, build a personal reputation on them, and let everything else drift.

What matters to me is whether the collective result improved, not whose name was on the slide.

Honesty and Transparency

I say what I actually think, directly, in the same way at work and in friendship. I would rather put an uncomfortable truth on the table early than let a problem grow while everyone manages appearances.

Transparency is not a policy for me, it is the precondition for trust.

Healthy Competition and Constructive Loy

I like competition when it raises the level of everyone involved rather than being a way to diminish others. And I am not a passive yes man. I commit fully to decisions, but my instinct is "yes, and here is a way to do it more efficiently."

Agreement without thought is not loyalty, it is avoidance.

What I'm proud of

Building Rather Than Waiting

At 21, while still a student, I created my first company. I did not wait for a diploma, a title, or anyone's permission. While others were partying, I was working for my customers or looking for new ones, late at night, on weekends, on holidays. What I am proud of is not the hours, since many people work hard. It is that I chose this at an age when nothing obliged me to, in an environment built for the opposite. That is where my self-direction comes from, and why I take full ownership of what I commit to. Company name: Astria Informatique Léo & Cie

Building Something From Nothing

I created a company that lets Swiss people import goods from Germany easily, without the nightmare of customs and taxes, opening up the whole German market and everything Switzerland does not have. I started from scratch: building the digital platforms, hiring the team, onboarding everyone myself. What I am proud of is that I spotted a friction people had simply accepted as normal and turned it into a business. Not an idea on paper, but a working operation with real infrastructure and real people behind it, built end to end, with zero prior knowledge of customs, its codes and its processes, and without even speaking German. Company name: Allex GmbH (Germany) + Allex Trading GmbH (Switzerland)

Crypto - Bringing Clarity to Chaos

The crypto world was chaotic, full of scams and fake projects, so I built TopCoinRating.com: a one-stop platform for the top cryptocurrency and blockchain projects. I designed training materials and guidelines to onboard non-expert investors, created strategies for building sustainable portfolios from scratch. The project was discontinued after the first crypto crash in Q1 2018. What I am proud of is not the outcome but the intent: I moved into a space everyone was exploiting and chose to make it understandable and safer for ordinary people. And when the market told me the project was over, I accepted it and moved on rather than clinging to it.

Olive Oil - Connecting People to the Source

With OlioLeo I built a direct-to-customer model linking farmers in Puglia to the European market: extra virgin olive oil from Salento, sold not as a product but through an olive tree adoption program, so customers were connected to a specific tree, a specific grower, a sustainable supply chain. The company ceased operations when Xylella fastidiosa devastated southern Puglia and cut production by 80% in a single year. What I am proud of is having built something around a real relationship rather than a transaction, and around a region and its producers rather than a margin. It ended for reasons no business decision could have prevented, and I can look back at it without regret.

Key achievements in life

  1. 2005

A project running on the side, since my student years

    Entrepreneurial

I never developed a taste for television, and later for social media or video streaming. The hours went somewhere else. Since my studies there has always been a project running alongside work: something to build, fix or figure out. Three of them became companies. It has never felt like discipline, just how I prefer to spend an evening or weekends.

Beyond work

Sailing boat

Skipper · CCS · 2015 - today

I hold an international sailing and motorboat licence with unlimited nautical mileage on sea. I had never sailed in my life. I signed up for a week at sea with the CCS club, flew to Malta, and told the crew I was a complete beginner only once I was aboard. They were less amused than I was. The worst case never crossed my mind, I was only thinking about the sea, the people, and learning something new. It turned out well, and a few years later I earned my licences

Visit

Motorcycle

2009 - today

Passionate motorbiker with years of experience riding across Switzerland and Central Europe. I know the Alpine passes well, and I enjoy planning longer tours through Austria, Italy, France and Germany. For me, riding is about the combination of freedom, focus and good company: discovering new roads, stopping in small mountain villages, and sharing the route with other riders.

Sking

Dad on the slopes · Family · Every winter season

A day here, a weekend there, whenever the season allows. Skiing with my kids is the one thing in my calendar that never gets moved. Fresh air, no screens, no email, and a good reason to be back on the mountain by nine.

Projects & ventures

Salento Prime Srl (Italy)

Active

Co-Founder · Jan 2024 – today

Salento Prime is an Italian property management company specialized in accommodations, offering personalized management that maximizes rental income. Its core idea is to combine traditional property management with cutting-edge technology: AI agents, machine learning and digital platforms.

I implemented several AI agents to automate operational tasks, from cleaning staff management to check-in and check-out assignments, while a dedicated team handles day to day operations.

What I am most proud of is rebuilding how a hands-on, traditional business runs from the inside, in a region where nobody expected it: technology applied to real operations and real people, not just as a concept.

Salento Exclusive Services (Italy)

Active

Founder · Feb 2025 – today

Building an Ecosystem, Not Just a Business

Alongside Salento Prime, I created Salento Exclusive Services, a luxury concierge company for guests in villas, hotels, B&Bs and masserie across Salento. Through a curated local partner network, it offers private chefs, wine tastings, drivers, yacht rentals, in-villa wellness, outdoor experiences and family services, and can be plugged into by other accommodation providers.

Managing a property is only half the value; the other half is what happens once the guest arrives.

SalentoMe.com

Active

Founder · Mar 2026 – today

SalentoMe is the platform I built to bring everything happening in Salento and Puglia into one place: beaches, castles, churches and archaeological sites, alongside concerts, sagre, tours and festivals. Information once scattered across notice boards, Facebook posts and word of mouth.

The content pipeline is powered by AI: AI agents capture events and points of interest from hundreds of unstructured sources, then classify, geolocate, deduplicate, enrich and translate them automatically, replacing what would need a full editorial team.

The result is multilingual and browsable by category, city, date and map: an entire region turned into structured, living data, giving visibility back to towns and organizers who would otherwise never be found.

Almondia

Completed

Investor

At Almondia.com I helped develop a digital platform (PaaS) that let end customers estimate the final cost of their dream house through a drag-and-drop tool, connecting them with pre-built house companies.

What I am proud of is having taken something highly complex, the true cost of building a house, and made it tangible and self-service for ordinary people. And that the value created was recognized by outside investors, not only by us.
