Terms of service

1. What this service is

ByondCV is a publishing tool. We host the page you create and make it findable. We are not an employment agency, we do not screen employers, and we do not promise that using the service will get you work, interviews or clients.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish and for keeping your credentials secure. One person, one account; profiles must represent a real individual.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to everything you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display it as part of running the service, and that licence ends when you delete the content. You confirm you have the right to publish any photo, logo or text you upload.

4. What is not allowed

  • Impersonating another person or organisation.
  • Publishing another person's private data without their consent.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content.
  • Scraping, bulk-harvesting contact data, or automated messaging through the contact form.
  • Using the platform to advertise unrelated commercial offers or to spam profile owners.

Any user can report a profile. We review reports, and we may unpublish content or suspend an account for serious or repeated breaches. We tell you why and you may appeal by replying to the notice.

5. Subscriptions

Premium is billed monthly or yearly through our payment provider. You can cancel at any time from settings, in two clicks, without contacting anyone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Content above free-plan limits is never deleted it is locked and read-only until you restore it or downgrade it.

6. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time; your public page disappears immediately. We may terminate for material breach of these terms, with notice where possible.

8. Governing law

Swiss law applies, with the courts of Zurich competent, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence give you a different forum.
